How to Order Pictures Tutorial:
1. Find your pictures:
Images will be sorted in to folders by rider numbers in the Potcreek Meadow Farm sub-section of the Equestrian section ofhttp://www.troutstreaming.com (if you are reading this, then you have already located this Gallery) . If I was not able to identify a rider, then images were placed in the '000 Unknown Rider' or '000 Candids' folders.
2. View your pictures:
Smugmug supports a wide range of viewing styles to change how the images are viewed and laid out on your web page. These are controlled using the drop down list in the upper right portion of the top menu right next to the shopping cart. Images will be printed from full-size files, although only smaller proofs are viewable on the site.
3. Purchase your pictures:
Use the Buy: this photo multiple photos | view cart hyperlinks to add and manage photos you wish to purchase. Cookies need to be enabled on your browser for the Shopping Cart to functihttp://www.smugmug.com/help/cookies Once images are in your cart, then you can select the product, size, and crop that you desire. Smugmug offers a vast assortment of products.
4. Print Proofing and Optimization:
After you place your order I am notified by Smugmug and will then review the images and print sizes that you have selected. The images pictured on the site are not necessarily representative of the images that you will receive in print as all images that are ordered as prints are further post-processed by me to maximize image quality. I employ professional post-processing techniques (color cast neutralization, color enhancement, contrast enhancement using curves and exotic color spaces and three types of sharpening enhancements - traditional USM (unsharp mask) plus two types of HiRaLoAm methods) using a color profiled work flow to deliver high quality prints. I will then choose the cropping appropriate for the image size ordered. If you have selected a specific cropping option I will attempt to preserve your preference. I will then add a small digital signature to the image and upload the optmized image to the printer.
5. Printing and shipping:
Smugmug through their print service, will then print and ship your order. Smugmug offers a 30-day guarantee on their printshttp://www.smugmug.com/help/print-guarantee , but hopefully this will not be necessary.
